In a recent article by The Press-Enterprise, a RTA bus crashed into a full-sized pickup truck causing the driver to be injured. Friday afternoon in Riverside at about 1:11 p.m. six people were aboard the Route 12 bus when it crashed into a white Ford Ranger pickup truck at 14th and Orange street, causing the truck to roll onto its side. A Big Bear pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking on a Sunday night in December according to a recent article by The Sun. A 41-year-old man of Big Bear was walking on the roadway near Thrush Drive when a passing vehicle with a man from Sugar Loaf struck him. Paramedics found the pedestrian unresponsive lying in the street suffering from critical injuries. The victim was flown to a hospital where he was last listed in critical condition. The Press-Enterprise reported a 56-year-old man was arrested on the afternoon of Oct. 26 for driving into a crowd of protesters in a recent online article.
