A Big Bear pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking on a Sunday night in December according to a recent article by The Sun. A 41-year-old man of Big Bear was walking on the roadway near Thrush Drive when a passing vehicle with a man from Sugar Loaf struck him. Paramedics found the pedestrian unresponsive lying in the street suffering from critical injuries. The victim was flown to a hospital where he was last listed in critical condition. The Press-Enterprise recently released an online article in which a woman recently died after a car crashed into her as she was a passenger in a car, on the early morning of October 18th. The crash was reported just after 1 a.m. on Mountain View Avenue and Base Line, the driver that hit the woman and then drove off but police soon caught up with him and were able to arrest him.
