I thought this would be difficult because of my extensive real estate holdings and investments. Oren Ross made it very simple, laid out everything with future instructions, included all special letter heads for banks and brokers and went over everything so I could understand it. Thank you!

Worst lawyers ever and he fails most of his clients. He did not even read my file before interacting with the opposing counsel. If he had he would have known not to waste more of my time! Oh and he billed me for it I had to ask him or shall I say her to take it off! That's not the only part! Then at the very end my lawyer messes up filling so the judge denies my divorce for another 90 days! Then when he goes back he forgets to attach the correct paper work again! He does not tell me any of this either I get notified in the mail by the court system! He thinks it's funny but I got the last laugh by firing this clown.

Read my experience entirely: The worst hired representation money can not afford. Your testimony will be waived without your consent. Mine was. The final decree they never signed reads: "The making of a record of testimony was waived by the parties with the consent of the court." I never consented to have my case or testimony not recorded. This is an absolute travesty. I spoke clearly in my opposition at the prove up, stating "the courts have not acted in the best interest of my children", "there was room for reconciliation because the evidence shows that, divorced and remarried each other already"... etc. Other issues pending are the ethics review of emails with monies handled/withheld/stolen by R Michael Collum. Yes, Michael Collum and David Handel will work together to drain both of you

Michael Collum and his entire firm are by far the most unprofessional group of people I have ever come in contact with. I previously had primary custody of my elementary school aged daughter. Dirtbag Collum took over my case and I lost primary of my daughter. I am now ordered to pay her mother child support. Michael Collum lies. He promises the world and does not deliver. I was told he would cut my bill drastically if I left a 5 star review on all sites. Well, here is my one star review. He deserves of course zero stars.

Hiring R. Michael Collum was the second worst decision I have made in my lifetime. Do understand from my end, I better have some evidence or proof for making such a review of a law firm. I welcome anyone to contact me directly, will be glad to provide. From start to finish my experience was mired in what I would call is incompetence from a legal standpoint. I paid a significant amount for representation, received marginal services at best. Basic questions posed about case status would go unanswered weeks on end. When answered, they would be billed at an hourly rate for providing simple updates. I also received legal documents from other cases via email. At the end of my proceedings, was left with zero credit towards my case, seemed to roll over on all issues. They're only interest was to stretch out billables, close the case out without your best interests.

I wish I had read the last several reviews before hiring R. Michael Collum. I agree with many of the reviewers. In my situation he did not communicate what was going on, did not make valuable recommendations, did not respond to phone calls and emails, did not provide a statement of account for his services, and basically took my money while showing no concern for the outcome of your case. Quite frankly who needs to work with someone that you constantly need to nudge, cajole and pester with a hope of getting things done? I signed a contract with him early in October 2019, did not see any paperwork or forward movement until after Thanksgiving. I had to keep pleading for updates and information to help set my expectations of the proceedings. My inquiries were not even given the courtesy of a brief email or text stating that he had received the information.
